New York, New York
Warm greetings, and welcome to the ‘new and innovative’ EGYPT Tourism USA, a subsidiary of Vuitton Travel, based in New York City.
Our previous website no longer exists and now, as promised, its time to unveil our new website and all of its features to a global audience by the power of the internet.
While the basic content remains the same, it has been updated, and we have chosen to brand Egypt as a Classic, Cultural, Iconic, Sophisticated destination for truly, we believe that to be true.
Of late, we have seen too many negative online postings regarding Egypt and our team are dedicated to dispel the myth that Egypt is unsafe to visit.
Every country has its own cultures and we conclude that no matter how much on thinks that they ‘know’ Egypt, intimate knowledge on the destination is lacking. Even worse, expectations are not being appropriately set for arriving travelers. And so, our mission remains steadfast:
“Despite online points of view, our professional opinion is that Egypt remains a hospitable and friendly destination inhabited by kind and caring people. Informed travelers whose expectations have been appropriately met all conclude that Egypt is a Classic, Cultural, Iconic, and Sophisticated destination – and we second those opinions.”
While our website is complete and ready to launch to the world, on March 29th, 2023, we’re starting a Masterclass named “How To Plan A Meaningful Journey In EGYPT.”
This Masterclass will touch on many aspects of an Egyptian journey from “Preparing for departure,” to and including “a Classical Egyptian Journey,” but most importantly, “Why travelers should stay longer, and where.” There are so many unexplored spots in Egypt that deserve to be seen and we’re bringing those destination to the forefront of travelers minds.
Statistics show that todays traveler is prepared to travel further and stay longer and fully embrace “Slow Travel is the New Luxury,” and we believe that they should visit Egypt as a stand alone destination, not a fleeting visit en route to an onward destination. With the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum upon us, Nicole Edenedo, senior editor covering the tour operator and river cruise beats of the esteemed publication TRAVEL WEEKLY wrote:
But no destination seems to be more popular right now than Egypt, where a number of river cruise companies continue to double down on new offerings in the region and deepen their investments on the Nile.
A 2022 USTOA Economic Impact Report listed Egypt as one of the top destinations that tour operators say travelers will want to visit in 2023, especially when it comes to off-the-beaten-path vacations.
Naturally, we agree with Nicole, and thank her for mentioning Egypt in her highly encouraging and informative article.
Moving forward, it is up to us all to consider Egypt as a Classic, Cultural, Iconic, Sophisticated destination, and promote it as such. Setting appropriate expectations and sharing knowledge is of paramount importance and you can rely on EGYPT Tourism USA to support Egypt is every way imaginable.
But we cannot do it alone. We need your input.
If you have a story to tell, a product that is worthy of sharing news about, a new, innovative and enticing initiative to share with travelers, please feel free to Contact Us with that information. As long as it is positive our editors will gladly review it and publish it here on our blog and throughout our social media.
With that said, together, we can make a difference and eradicate the negative online opinions and shine a well deserved spotlight on Egypt in 2023 and beyond.
With every best wish,
Kenneth R. Vásquez Laya
